Unfortunately, dragging it out may mean the option for VR is withdrawn and only statutory is available.0 -
Also every days delay is another days pay and some accrued holiday.
If the enhanced is just a bit more than stat it might not take long to end up with more in the pocket.0 -
Employers actions like what exactly? You do not know the reasons behind the redundancy and they could be perfectly legitimate
Errrrr, actions like the one the OP alluded to. The timing - so as not to break into a 10 year service record and thus incur the extra cost.
I had a similar feat imposed on me when I tendered a month's notice at Easter: timed such that my last day was the Thursday preceding Good Friday, and paid only to the Thursday. An action that served only to p1ss me off.0
