Advise Please - losing deposit?

I booked a holiday a few months ago with First Choice and left a £130 deposit, I now cant go the week I booked, is there anything I can do to avoide losing my deposit? The full balance is due to be paid by tomorrow so any advice would be much appreciated.

Not likely, what do the T&C's say about the deposit in the event of a cancellation? You could try your travel insurance if you have it, or perhaps the holiday company will allow you to use the same deposit for another week.0

the only way not to lose out is take another weektravelover0

travel insurance may cover it depending on why you can't go the original dates, eg if you cant get the time off work/booked the wrong dates by accident/already have another holiday planned for that week I forgot about, those reasons wouldnt be claimable...
the best thing is try and book another week and transfer the deposit - they usually can offer an alternative.0
