Pulsating Shower

Moved into a brand new flat 4 years ago, however in the last 4 to 6 weeks or so the shower in the en suite (which is all built in) has started pulsating for the first 3-5 minutes when you turn it on and it makes a sound as it pulsates. It stops after a while. No other problems anywhere else in the flat at the moment. Any ideas on what I need to do?

Sounds like it might have a "massage" setting on the head. This causes a small bit of plastic to whizz round inside the head, increasing and decreasing flow as it goes.

You might be able to twist the head to set it to "normal" shower, or you could open the head and remove thea bit of plastic.

Thanks but it has no massage setting. Sounds like some sort of trapped air. I don't want to get a plumber round if he's just going to do something simple that I could have done..

Have you got a second shower head? If so fit it. Do you get the same problem? If you don't its the head that's currently fitted.

    Cheers

99p Stores have shower heads for...well 99p! It might be worth trying one of those?
