    Indeed, but as luck would have it, water would some how find its way in through some nook or cranny, which could then fry the "brain" of the computer landing you with a bill of many hundreds of pounds, if not thousands depending on car and component.

    One thing to check on the forum is whether it has a cam chain or uses a cam belt - if it uses a cam belt find out the change interval (eg. after x years or x miles) and hence when it'll next be due as cam belt changes can be expensive and it isn't something you'd want to skip.

    Also before buying check every function and all the settings - blower, aircon, washers, wipers, mirrors etc.
