I'm doing badly on the last one, about 7 sales so far from 40 items listed. No one wants my junk anymore!

  • I thought that too, with all my "junk" listed, I got a NEG and thought thats it - nobody wants to buy my stuff now.

All were ending on Sun PM, and I had ONE bid in over 60 items, but when I got home and checked there was over 15 items sold.

So, moral of the story .. ain't over till the fat lady sings.

    Have some Hope.
Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay

I agree about the last minute bidders. I had some items finishing and only a couple had bids, but at the last minute another 10 sold.

I think it seems to be a bit slower at present. At the moment I'm averaging about 10 - 12 sales per weekend. A few months ago it was more like 18-20, from the same amount of listings.

I've decided that some things are never going to sell, so I've sent them to the charity shop. I've unearthed my LP's from the loft and I'm working out which are the most interesting to sell, in the hope of generally boosting the amount of stuff that leaves my house.

I'm lucky in that my private sales are merely speculative and I am happy to take the unsold stuff to the charity shop. I have had a little flurry of interest in a Few things ending later today though, one unwanted item with a £3 start is currently over £15 which is nice.

I am also lucky in that my business sales have never been stronger, so I'm not too despondent.

No it isn't. At the moment eligible private sellers seem to get free weekends every other week. Last week they also had a free Thursday as well.

I agree finding things are selling less and less on eBay and things are going for cheap. Half the time I give to charity rather than make 70p on an item and give the rest to RM or eBay.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
