Can Anyone Reccomend A Cheap Double Glazing Firm In Fife ?

Hi all, my wife and I are looking to replace 7 windows and 2 doors with double glazing in Dalgety Bay, Central Fife area and wonder if anyone knows of a good but fairly priced local firm that we could use. I have read all about the negative side of using big company names so would like to use a local firm instead.

Hope someone has a reccomendation,

Thanks folks
Graham

    Wood or PVC?

If wood you could try the firm that did our windows in the new build, but not sure how far they travel.

Alternatively there should be similar on the east coast.
  • Would prefer upvc but would consider wood, thanks for the reply will check them out :)

We had SRJ Windows fit us a set of patio doors recently and I would recommend them, fair quote, scheduled the work, turned up when they said they would, completed a nice job and no mess left behind. Also no upfront payment so you only pay once you are happy with the work completed.
  • would recommend you look at Double Glazing on the Web. They give you a price online and then get local companies to contact you. Essentially they have done the searching of companies and you know what price you can get already so there's non of the usual bargaining tactics!

Then you have another person taking a cut.
