Switching from Npower

Using the Cheap Energy Club recommendation I switched from Npower to Scottish Power taking place on 29th April ( the process began in March).
The transfer was dealt with by Scottish Power with meter readings being sent by me to both suppliers.
It transpires that Npower owe me around £160 for the balance of my account.
I have had confirmation that £105 is due to me for overpayment for electricity. Not yet refunded.
Nothing at all has been forthcoming about the balance of the gas bill so I rang Npower today who claim that they do not have the meter reading for it.
This is not so. Even though the transfer was being dealt with by Scottish Power I had again emailed the reading to Npower after the end of my account and rang them to confirm that they had got it. Yes they had, they said.
I was told today that I could expect to wait up to another 40 days to get my refund!
Bet that they wouldn't have taken 3 months if I had owed them money when switching.

Hi tony6403,
It shouldn't be taking this long to sort out your final bills and get any refund owed, back to you.
Please can you send me an email with all the details on and I can take a look into this for you? You'll find this on my profile.
Many thanks,
Adam“Official Company Representative"

Hello Mr NPower person,
I was recently fraudulently signed up to Npower , even after refusing to sign anything at my door, and when i complained by phone and asked who it was that was at my door and forged my signature , as i intended to go to the Police about it, i was told that they couldnt give his name to me under the Data Protection Act.
Is it normal procedure for your company to protect crooks?0 -

Good Morning syledis,
This sounds quite worrying and I'd like to take a look and see what's happened here.
Please could you send me over any details you have, along with your address, so I can take a look? My contact email is on my profile page.
Kind regards,
