Letter written to confirm initially when I first missed a payment... Once I know that date then I shall write a second asking for a refund for all ppi charges from that point onward. I shall site their terms and conditions expressing hat the contract and payment obligations were breached by me and in their own words, the policy should have ended. Instead they carried on and added a very considerable amount to an increasingly burdensome debt.
Will keep you informed as things go forward.

It will help if you can find another reason or reasons as to why you didn't need it. Good sick pay, death in service, redundancy payments [although they are not contractual] savings or investments, or another income.
