Hi everyone,
my husband has a default on his credit file from 2008, it was a natwest credit card we were having trouble paying and we agreed a monthly payment, we haven't missed a payment since the agreement but it has registered a default on his file. Will the default drop off after 6 years from the default date even if we are still paying off the balance or will it be 6 years from when the account is settled?
Hope this makes sense!! Thanks for any help:T
