I just had a junk call offering me a service to end junk calls!
I couldn't stop laughing at the bloke!!!

"I'm calling about the large number of marketing calls you receive."
"Yes, they are a nuisance."
"We are offering a service to stop all marketing calls."
"Like this one you mean, well let's start now!"
"Bwaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! :rotfl:"

Tonights gem
Them:- you know that energy prices have gone up last year by £600 that's 9% increase
Me :- 9%, that's an energy bill of nearly £5400. I'm glad my bill is not that much, its more than my total pension, anyway I've just saved £400 on my next years bill. Cue dead silence and a polite good bye from me.

Not £5,400. The original amount would have to be £6,666.67 for a 9% increase to equal £600.
