Hi people, my first post here so forgive me if i repeat anything thats been covered here already.
As it is getting late i will update on all my ideas tomorrow.

Okay a few pointers.
When booking for a service, supply your own parts. The markup on oil alone is unbelievable. Many basic service items can be bought dirt cheap.
Always ask for a run down on your bill, queery everything.
Always leave a contact number and insist on being notified if further work is required on your car.
On any major job required, get a few quotes from other garages, this could save you a fortune.
If you have a fault with your car describe it as best as possible, but dont say what you think it is, otherwise you may find yourself with a large bill, your car no better and a garage saying "well we did what you told us you thought it was"
Thats all for now, but if i can be of anymore help feel free to ask.

Some garages won't service the car unless you buy the parts from them ... also, they will then rip you off on labour as thats the only profit they are likely to make.
To be honest, if you can manage to go out and get the parts needed, its not much more difficult to service the car yourself. If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0 -

Thats very true, but not everyone is able to take on even the most basic tasks.
And as for garages not willing if you supply your own parts, in my experience you should be able to supply your own oil at least.0
