Credit history and existing credit accounts

Options
Hypothetical question more or less to just satisfy my curiosity - what I want to know is, do lenders who have an existing agreement with you change the product (APR, credit limit) based on your current circumstances, or just on your internal history? I.e., do lenders you have an agreement with occasionally review your credit files to make sure your circumstances are still the same as when you signed up.

Reason I ask is because I'd be interested to know if losing your job, or perhaps being defaulted on something, could lead to lenders ramping up APR or worse terminating their agreement with you - or is that something that doesn't happen?

All hypothetical of course, I'm just curious, given how hard it is now to build a perfect credit history.
Oh, you wee bazza!

Each lender you have an Aggrement with will recieve upto date info from CRAs on a monthly basis to keep an eye on your circumstances like missed/late payments etc and will of course change APR on your aggrement if they see adverse.

As for Job loss they wouldn't know unless you tell them or missing payment may give them a clue
