Very.co.uk slow at refunding me

Hi, please can someone advise me what I need to do.

I paid £447 off a bill by mistake online which was only meant to be £47.

I contacted very.co.uk and they told me the £400 overpaid will take 10 working days to go back into my account.
That's now be 16 days!

I have just called them to see why I haven't received yet and they've told me it will be another 10 working days.

I'm fuming! I've just come back off holiday and am short with money and have bills to go out of my account.

Please help.

    It's the usual case that businesses have 30 days to refund you, e.g. if returning something under the DSR.

    It's frustrating, and given that most payments are instantaneous these days you can't help but think they're hanging on to your cash for no good reason, but it's worth remembering that this was your mistake.

    If, after 30 days, they've not refunded you, time to open a can of whoop ass.
