I like unclear, messy, outdated laws, they add a bit of colour to the country. Now if you were suggesting we abolish some of the outrageous attacks on our freedom by the current govt. is instituting, i'd sign up like a shot.
"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.

It is legal for a male to urinate in public, as long it is on the rear wheel of his motor vehicle and his right hand is on the vehicle.

This particular law was laid to rest in 1976..... but it is still illegal for cabbies to carry rabid dogs or corpses and by law they must ask all passengers if they have small pox or the plague.

My friend and I have been involved in house purchases recently, and have both been warned about a possible chancel implication.

The deal seems to be 'We're not sure if you're liable, so buy chancel insurance if you want to be safe'

Nice little earner for someone! Does anyone have any clues about how to find out if you really are liable?
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
