Windows warranty

Hi,
I finally sold my house (offer accepted) and now gathering all the documents for the buyer. One of the requirement is to provide all documentation about the warranties of windows. I called SafeStyle who installed my windows in 2010 and they said they charge £72 to transfer the warranty to the new owner. Is this normal? How come the warranty is only on my name? If this is the case, who pays for this fee?
Thanks

I would forward to information to your solicitor and ask if the buyers would like to purchase the warranties at the price stated from the window company.0

I thought SafeStyle were GGF??
Have a look at this:

Perhaps they have got a bit confused (especially when it finacially benefits them??)0 -
SafeStyle is not saying they can't transfer the warranty, they are saying there is £72 administration fee to transfer0

I just talked to SafeStyle about the warranty documents and they said FENSA certificate is enough to transfer the warranty. So I guess it's up to the buyer to sort this out.
Thanks for all your replies.0
