SaveWaterSaveMoney's photo competition in association with Waitrose, the Gorilla Organization, Digital Photography Magazine and Photography for Beginners Magazine is your unique opportunity to win entry to the Hope4Apes charity dinner at the Savoy Hotel – and meet the one, the only… the living legend, Sir David Attenborough!
The VIP celebrity-packed dinner in aid of gorillas is on 27th September – and we at Save Water Save Money are absolutely delighted to have two tickets up for grabs. The gala’s being supported by fundraising charity the Gorilla Organization, which helps African villages access fresh water easily – so the communities no longer have to damage gorillas’ habitats in search of water.

THE MAIN PRIZE

1. The Competition is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands & Isle of Man, except for employees of Save Water Save Money Ltd, their families or anyone else associated with this competition.
2. This competition is open to all ages but if you are under 18, you will be required to supply a signed parental or legal guardian consent form if successful in winning. If this is the case, the winner’s ‘guest’ must be a parent or legal guardian.
3. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
4. The prize consists of ‘reasonable’ transport costs for the winner and guest; defined as a pair of adult second class, British mainland inter-city return train tickets booked 30 days in advance (transport from Northern Ireland and Islands is not included); two seats at a table of 10 at the 2013 Hope4Apes Gala Dinner taking place at the Savoy’s Lancaster Ballroom and a deluxe twin room at the Savoy Hotel, London (room only) on the night of Friday 27th September (see prize breakdown for full details)
5. The competition will open for entries at 0001 GMT on Monday 17th June 2013 and will close at 2359 GMT on Saturday 17th October 2013. Entries received before or
6. Entries must be submitted via http://www.savewatersavemoney.co.uk/competition . Entrants must complete all sections of the form to be entered. We regret that we are unable to accept postal entries.
7. You are responsible for informing Save Water Save Money Ltd of any changes to the information entered, in particular of any change of contact details at any time before the closing date.
8. A maximum of 5 entries per person will be permitted. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of upload will not be accepted as proof of
9. Each image can only be entered once. Duplicates will be removed.
10. Entrant’s initials, surname, description and caption will be published with their photo.
11. The image files must be at least 72 dpi and a maximum of 300dpi and 5MB in size. Entrants should include their own name, email address, postcode, telephone no., a brief description of where the picture was taken and a caption for the picture. Image should be submitted as JPG or PNG files only.
12. Minor digital manipulation is acceptable but please keep to a minimum so that the submitted picture is a true representation of the scene as it was when captured. Computer-generated or computer-altered images will not be accepted. Artwork and illustrations will not be accepted.
13. Entries should not feature any infringing, threatening, abusive, obscene or pornographic content and not contain any personally identifiable information about you or others. Any entries deemed to be of such nature will not be accepted and
14. Children and babies must be wearing at least a nappy and if your image does feature children you must have their parents’/guardian(s)’ legal consent for the image to be published online or in hard copy.
15. Save Water Save Money Ltd withholds the right to reject/moderate any image it deems inappropriate for the competition without notice or explanation.
16. All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been used to win a prize in any other photographic competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.
17. Save Water Save Money Ltd does not accept any liability for the publication of unlawfully reproduced images.
18. Copyright of all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their providing the competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to Save Water Save Money Ltd and its partners for this competition to feature any or all of the submitted images in part or whole in any of their websites, publications and/or in any promotional material either online or offline. By entering your image, you grant to Save Water Save Money Ltd. the non-exclusive right to reproduce it for any purpose at any time in any media with attribution. Failure to publish a credit due to error or oversight shall not be deemed a breach of this condition.
19. The entry deemed to be the most apt, original and self-explanatory will be judged to be the winning entry. The decision of the Judges is final and they will not engage in any correspondence.
20. The winner will be notified within fourteen days of the closing date of the competition: 2359 GMT on August 17th 2013. We will attempt to contact the winner 3 times either by email or telephone (if no. is provided). If no response is received within 5 working days of first contact the prize will be awarded to the runner up.
21. The winner’s name, county, description and caption will be advertised along with the winning photo. The winners may be asked to take part in publicity.
22. Winning this competition will disqualify the entrant from also receiving a prize from the sister competition running alongside this on Facebook, regardless of the quantity of ‘likes’ received.
23. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
24. Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Save Water Save Money Ltd and accordingly Save Water Save Money Ltd may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the terms of the competition. Entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Save Water Save Money Ltd. as a result thereof. Although Sir David Attenborough is scheduled to host the Hope4Apes evening, Save Water Save Money Ltd cannot guarantee that Sir David Attenborough will attend or that the winner will get a chance to meet him in person.
25. Save Water Save Money Ltd is acting as a promoter for this competition and as such does not accept liability for any personal loss or injury that may occur in relation to the competition or prize, including the transport to and from the event. All liability for personal injury or loss shall remain with the supplier of the goods or services.
26. English law applies and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts shall prevail.

Thought be ok to bump as its so far off,

This has to be IMO one of the best prizes ever!
i love sir David and have his ENTIRE collection on DVD and on my PS3, and watch at least 1 show a day every day (seen them all hundreds of times).
Would love to win this, so if any expert photographers who dont fancy the prize want to give me any tips on photography, id be greatful.
