Is there any potential issues with this sort of hous?

Obviously I dont know the area personally, so tke with a pinch of salt.

The house looks nice, fairly modern, good space, good garden. Modern fittings.

As far as price goes, what are others going for in the area? Do you live locally?

Are you moving to the area? Have you considered renting for a while to get a bit of a better idea about the area prior to buying?

A 3 bed detached on the same street sold for £178k in May 2012 but I don't know the local market however that looks like quite a jump.

Yes moving into area, just don't want to loose money renting as I need to be in area for work.

The dining room hurts my eyes!

Looks pricey for what it is but could be a nice home once redecorated.

Looking at the police crime map, the anti-social behaviour seems to be around the Station Road and the High Street junction. Not too much spills into the local streets but you'd be close.

The Street View lands you near light industrial works, not sure how close the house is to that; maybe noise and some lorry movements?

I'd budget £2000 for redecoration and carpets, that red lounge carpet is awful. I'd get rid of laminate in the bedrooms too.

Otherwise, you're are paying a premium to be in walking distance to station and 60 mins to London. If you're not commuting, why pay for that?

Good size rear garden, but galley kitchen is small and no breakfast bar. No shower-over-bath in the main bathroom is disappointing.

I'd start by offering £190,000 and highlight you are FTB and not in a chain.
