I wonder if who installed the aga has wired it up wrong, or even the internal wiring.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Hi Richie, My husband thought it was 3 phase, but not sure why. He may have got mixed up, as there is nothing unusual about the house. What is the difference between the two? The meter looks more like the other meters you sent, but the blue square is identical!

    Thanks

We are pretty sure the Aga is fine. It lights up at the correct times during the night and when it has been repaired or there has been a power cut, and it has to warm up in the day, the peak light comes on.

    - when you have a power cut its all off, both night & day counters are off and there is no flashing light on the meter
    - if the lights bright and doesn't flash your using nowt
    - if the lights flashing slowing you are using little
    - if the lights going ballyistic you are using lots
    - the 3 phase is 200A and capable of running an office block or a funny leaf farm, hence my asking
    - the AGA will take at least one full 7 hour cycle to fully re-charge if its ver been offline for any reason

Your meter had a little flashing [proportional] light to tell you each Watt you consume, most modern meters are 1k per kW and its written on the front of the meter, so 1000 flashes = 1kWh = approx = 1x5.1p night rate = 5.51p. Similarly 1000 flashes = 1kWh = approx = 1x24.870p day rate = 24.870p. If the light is 'hard' on and does not flash it means there's no [electricity being used] load.

Your AGA engineer is only half right if the input thermostat / fusible link were both gone it would glow red hot if permanently on live to any amperage circuit. However if that AGA was being wrongly supplied by any amperage circuit during the daytime it would be more than able to soak it up [top up to fully charged again on a day rate full price supply] costing you money.

I do think there's something drawing power during the day, there's nothing you've so far mentioned capable of that draw quantity other than the AGA. Isolate the AGA for period and check the use day & night, or get an electrician in to check your wiring this side of their tails. I'm sure your suppliers meter is fine. I'm sure your AGA is fine. I'm not convinced your wiring to the AGA circuit from your consumer units is ok, and if it were mine I'd completely isolate the AGA and check the meter counters to at least eliminate the AGA as the cuckoo in the nest.
