No. She is still the same person and can conduct financial affairs on her own behalf.
Does she have a savings account in her maiden name?0 -
My loan was in my maiden name and I just had to provide my marriage certificate to my lender (Nationwide) to progress my ppi claim.0

Same here. I took my marriage cert, passport in married name and a util bill to local branch. They photocopied and stamped them in branch and i sent them off with complaint and covering letter
Hope that helps0 -
If her complaint is successful she'll have to supply proof of name and address change etc in order to receive a cheque.
They seem to lose a lot of these so make a few copies.....Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -

Sorry to drag this up again. I was told by the PPI department at Nationwide to do this. The little "oik" in our local branch said he wouldn't accept it because he'd lose his job because of identity fraud......
....... suffice to say I ended up with my form signed, PPI compensation paid, £10 to cover the extra phone call I had to make to the PPI department whilst in their branch and £50 for being told the incorrect information in the branch!!Debt-free wannabe: DMP with Stepchange.
