Ariel connection snapped off - no reception

Hi all
I thought my radio wasn't working as the ariel had come off and got lost somewhere on the road.

However having purchased a new one there is no where for me to screw the ariel into.

Basically the threaded part inside the ariel housing on the top of my car (female part) has come off completely. Therefore there is no where for my ariel to screw into.

Can anyone tell me what this part is called or where to buy a new bit.

It is a 2004 VW Polo.

I shall have a good look - and then get the master of the household to have a good look!!! I am sure he will be chuffed to bits with me asking him to do this on top of the work he is doing on our VW camper!!!
