I have paid off loans, so have no paperwork, can I still claim?

I had loans and credit agreements with ppi's between the years of 1995 and 2005, they have been paid off and I have also moved a couple of times, so I have no paperwork or even remember the names of the lenders. Is there a way to find any information with bank account details, old addresses and maiden name?

You'll have to send a Subject Access Request (SAR) letter to each of your former financial institutions. This should provide all details they still hold on you for at least the last six years and (sometimes) more.Firestarter23 wrote: »Is there a way to find any information with bank account details, old addresses and maiden name?
Do bear in my mind that some of this finance is from eighteen years ago and there may be no records left. Also realise that each SAR costs £10, so this could prove expensive with no guarantee of any return.
Here's an excellent template:

If you really have no memory of who you banked with then you can have no complaint at all I'm afraid.0 -
Thank you for your quick reply. I still have the same bank account from 1995 that all payments would have been made from so I have those details. I remember some of the lenders so I will try to see if I can get anywhere with them. Thanks again.0
