repaying open market homebuy loan

So, this is troubling me a little. We've got an open-market homebuy loan, through Metropolitan Home Ownership, rest of our mortage through Yorkshire Building Society.

We're selling our flat. In order to repay the homebuy loan to the government, we need to have a valuation done, and our lender (Yorkshire) arrange this. They did this through a third party surveyors, haven't got the name of them in front of me right this minute.

Yorkshire send me a valuation report that is not acceptable to Metropolitan. They require a comparison with three other similar properties in the area. The valuation report does not have this.

I've spoken with Yorkshire who assure me their surveyor reports do not need to have this on them (I specifically told them it was in order to pay back the homebuiy loan when requesting the valuation). I've spoken again with Metropolitan who insist it really does need the comparisons. I've spoken again with Yorkshire who tell me they've sent everything they have.

Each valuation costs £75. I'd rather not pay for another valuation and even then then maybe still not get what I need.

So, anyone been through this frustrating process, how did you get around it? Anyone got contact details for someone genuinely helpful in Yorkshire BS who deals with mortgage repayments, rather than the polite-but-not-terribly-useful call centre people.

Ta for any help!
