Dates on PPI offer summary are not current

My PPI offer from Natwest came and the letter says "Refund of premiums paid between 07 April 2007 and 06 April 2013" but I have made 2 more payments since then for PPI. I am assuming this is to do with the tax year but is this normal? Should they have included these dates? I only made the claim 11th June and my last credit card statement was 4th June so they would have known of these.

No, I would say it is not normal.
At first read, I thought it would be due to the calculation being carried just after 06/04/13, but you say you only made the claim on 11/06/13 so it cannot be for that reason.
You would get the extra payments back anyway, just later.
You might have to also tell them that you want to cancel your ppi, as some banks will not cancel it as a matter of course, as it could leave you in an unprotected position.

Yes, the OP needs to cancel the insurance in this case. The OP will probably also have to request a refund of the two further PPI payments.welshgasman wrote: »You might have to also tell them that you want to cancel your ppi, as some banks will not cancel it as a matter of course0 -
No idea about your question, but that must be a record response time! 5 days from complaint to offer, wow. Was it a small amount?0

Thanks everyone. I will call them tomorrow and question it.
It was a small amount (compared to some of the claim amounts I have seen - they offered £322, including interest). Like yourself, I was pleasantly shocked by how quick they were!0
