    When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
    We don't need the following to help you.
    Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

    Thank you all very much! Got a letter from the scammers accepting the appeal and dropping the charges (http://i.imgur.com/XHtEYnv.jpg). I did opt to not go with the scammers salutation, as tempting as it was.

    Stroma, Guys Dad and Coupon-mad...you three rock! Without you I'd have been suckered into paying at least £40. All it takes is waiting around and literally one letter.

    For anyone else out there who finds this thread, it is well worth asking for advice here before thinking about coughing up any cash.
