Noddle - problems registering.

Just tried to register with noodle, and followed all the correct steps, only to find when I have entered my debit card details I get the following message:

"Sorry, we haven’t been able to verify and validate your identity and can’t provide your credit report.

We’re sorry but unfortunately we’re not able to provide you with access to your credit report as we’ve not been able to automatically verify and validate your identity. As your credit report contains such personal and important financial information we need to make sure that we only make it available to the right person.

We're unable to tell you the exact reason that we couldn’t verify your identity but some of the most common reasons are a recent house move or name change, not being on the Electoral Roll or that the credit card details provided couldn’t be verified, this could be due to the card being relatively new.

We regularly make updates to our processes and we hope that this will allow more people to be automatically matched so please do come back and try again.

If you’ve any questions, or would like further information, please email us at register@noddle.co.uk.

Your Noddle credit report is provided by Callcredit Ltd."

I really cant understand why this has happened as i have been at the same address now for 10+ years, had the same bank account for about 8 years, no name change, on the electoral register, and had the card I'm using to verify with since December last year.

Any one else had this problem, if so how did you rectify it?

If you owe anyone any money, even historic, dont bother.
People have been called by debt collectors whilst viewing the report after registering.
The T+C allow them to share your details with "selected companies who may offer services recommended by them"
    In other words, Debt collectors.
    Be happy...;)

Could be something as simple as entering a wrong digit when putting your details in?

    Hello,

It could be that your bank has not passed on the details of your latest debit card. Contact your bank, possibly via telephone banking,
and have them look into it.

I have found noddle to be very good.

I dont think debit card numbers are registered with CRAs, when I registered I used a credit card and it went straight through.

As per the above. Debit card didn't work for me. The first credit card I tried, worked.

Does NODDLE have access to the FULL Electoral Register as I am only on it and not the shortened version ..Could that be the problem

Noddle just replied to my email but not able to say specifically why the THREE ID Checks failed ..they then pointed me in the direction of
the Callcredit site where I can apply for a charge of £2..

What I have noticed is that a 20p debit has appeared on my Debit Card account ( this was the first card I tried ) so I was wondering if this is a test payment Noddle made to check the card was valid ..I'd expect it to disappear in a few days if that is the case but it begs the question as to why the ID check failed if the Card was verified .
