Student Loan Assessment Deadline: Apply by 29 June to guarantee on-time payment

GRRRR! After weeks of nagging, DD finally has her forms all ready to post. Now she realises she has to include her passport, which she needs for her holiday this week. She won't be back in the UK until 29th June, so will miss the deadline.
If you can't get to the local office, as suggested by other folk. I think, that for a fee of around £7.50, you can photcopy your passport, get a solicitor to sign to say it is authentic, and send that to the lea.
I would phone your lea and check first though. Good luck0 -
its the login system which is problematical, D/D, wife and myself have all been locked out over the last few days when trying to login.Yes the case was right, yes the numbers were correct etc. Tried to get a new password etc but would not accept details. Willl have to ring them, yukk.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

When I started uni 2 yrs ago I didn't apply for any of the loans/grants until the August but still got everything on time.
Last year I did it in July still with no problem.
This year I'll probably wait until July again as I want to see my end of year results before I sort the finance for next yr. (LEA seems to get paperwork done quickly every yr.)
Nothing gets confirmed until you register at uni in your first week (or freshers week if you go in early) so I've never seen the need to rush for the deadlines.0 -
Wondering if the proposed postal strike goes ahead on the 29th, will deadline be extended??"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

Hi i'm a newbie here, i have recently been excepted into college to start this august, i have already been told that i will not receive funding for my course as i have already done an hnc, which was six years ago, i did not complete the hnc as i had alot of family problems going on.
However six years on i have found the right course for me that i know that i will be good at, i would like to know if there would be any help out there for me to assist me in paying my student fees for course.
I am also applying for a student loan for materials and such like.
I hope someone can help me thanks0
