Hi Alfie/firefly - I missed the gardening thing as well. Watched Holby City, and cried all through that as well. Will watch it next time as Holby records anyway.

I like pickled onions with fish and chips as well fire**fly. That was the only dish I'd have ketchup with too. I never have chips now I always have salad with my fish as I do watch the calories. Mind you, saying that, I've got steak pie for dinner I want fish and chips now

Aaaaw Sylv - the people are so deserving who get the garden makeovers. Can't begin to explain - cept to say it was happy tears in the end. Made me feel fairly humble.

Not only that, it is so interesting, re planting etc. Very informative. Was pleased to see my beloved bamboo and tropical plants I have were used as were beautiful lavenders etc. They give lots of tips on where to plant etc. Well worth watching. xxxxxx

i'm ashamed to admit I thought it was just DH who liked p/onions with his fishnchips as I thought it was a bit strange :eek: but you lot have proved me wrong & I've told DH he's not strange at all :eek::rotfl::rotfl:he replied it's me that's strange :eek::D:D
we have the air fried chips walwin, only every now & then
so it's a treat
