Hi all!

Well done winners! ILC - hope the delivery is a nice surprise!

Sorry to hear of all the sniffles, nasty colds etc - I'm joining in

Got poorly ear (ache), started yest evening and of course alf can't leave things alone!!!! I have to prod and poke and make things worse Got a headache/itchy throat now too and can't hear a thing! Maybe due to hayfever (suffered terribly with it as a child, then it disappeared for decades, now it's back again). Nothing serious tho, just feel a bit disorientated - fairly normal then for me!

Maybe a curry (vegetable) would help? I like Tikka Masala sauce - sometimes I spice it up a bit more - but dislike the extreme 'hot' curries - had one once and almost lost the will to live!!!!

Feeling fairly happy though that I had another good clear out of unwanted clothes, old blankets etc and donated the lot to animal rescue center for fundraising, hope it will help them a wee bit. Have a few charities close to my heart and like to help when I can.

Puddy gets v excited when I start rummaging through cupboards/wardrobes - she likes to join in and have a good nose! :p

Alf failed miserably on the euro so treated meself to lucky dip for tb and lotto ...... always the optimist!!!!

Got my free Greggs Sausage roll, good job not had a big brekkie as they're 370 cals!

I usually have a curry when feeling a cold coming on,
think the spices help sweat it out :eek:

Oh dear we everyone seems to be getting poorly so big hugs for you all and hope you get better soon.

Glad you had a lovely time Sheils and enjoyed Falkirk and sorry dd is not well.

DH has just woke up. He has been asleep on the settee, unheard of for him so perhaps he may feel a bit better soon.

We have pork chops for tea and I am going to do some nice rice etc to go with it for a change.

Think you are right Alfie a strong curry seems to do the job well.

LOL ILC - well ...... don't think I will be bringing home the bacon :eek:...... or the slippery liver and kidneys!!! :eek::eek: Maybe a salad dusted with gold :D Good luck to thee and me!!

Though have to admit, me mum and dad loved liver n kidneys with gravy, spuds/veg etc. Yuk

Early yet for meow? Mine is happy at the mo cos I am doing art work, sorting out pics etc.Sorting a few out and hanging them up. Long overdue! And she likes to oversee the project!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ps, did anyone watch Love Your Garden last night? Absolutely wonderful
