I am so embarrassed....:o I found out the 'bangers' going off last night was actually thunder! :rotfl: it didn't sound like thunder...there was no rumble or lightening, just a massive boom that shook the house! :doh: (silly me!)

She hasn't had any work since the Easter Hols wingo as they got into bother with giving kids too many hours. Don't know what will happen in the summer but she doesn't seem that bothered as it was really hard work. The hotel where she did her work experience will employ her if they get busy but it is really quiet just now.
DH says you are as dippy as I am with regards to the thunder!

Aw that's a shame about the job. Everything's laws and legislations these days! I used to love my weekend job when I was at school, I think more teens should be allowed to work weekends and earn some pocket money to prepare them for leaving school.
I normally know the difference between fireworks and thunder....this was unreal! :rotfl:

Sheils - thats a shame the work at the choc place has ended. Hope she finds something to bring her in some extra pocket money during the summer.

Don't quite know what is the matter with Lottie. Since we came back from DD's on Wednesday she is sulking. She keeps disappearing upstairs and hiding behind the toilet like she does when I have the soup maker on. Very Odd.

Poor Lottie. Maybe she is missing being at your DD's? I bet she was spoilt while she was there!

I hope the weather is nice tomorrow for us all Sheils Son is going to Beamish tomorrow with school so hope it's not raining.
These light nights make it harder to get the kids to bed! Youngest would normally be asleep by now but I've just been in to her and she's wide awake! I need to iron their uniforms, I'm late today.
