    Morning all :)
I've been on a mission doing a mad hour of kids comps! I suddenly realised I've got nothing put away for bdays or chrimbo! I best get my finger out! ;)
DD wants a hamster for her bday next month but DH says no, so now she would like a Blackberry playbook like her sis and bro has! :o I'm thinking of giving in to the hamster as its cheaper! :D

Thanks for all the well wishes for my mum today. :A

Sheils I hope your Aunt is ok and coping well xx

Fire**fly, hope all is well with you & yours too xx

Good on yer walwin, having a good clear out and a productive day! :T It makes you feel better doesn't it when you have a good clear out :)

Sylvia, I know what you mean about kids eating you out of house and home! I'm sick of running round to local farmfoods for top up! :o

Enjoy your day off after work indie :) Good luck comping!

Hope you're all well Alfie, ILC, oddies, Katie, paadzer, SueB, LadyM, SueM and all the rest of you lovelies :kisses3:

    Morning folks,

just thought I'd update you all in regards to my little grumble last week about the parcel that came with inadequate postage on it.
Anyway, it was a DVD that I won, so I got in touch with the lady who sent it, and explained, and they were quite shocked and sorry that it happened, so she has sent me a Blu-ray bundle (3 films) :j by courier to make up for it. I'm quite chuffed that it all worked ok. :T
So, if you aren't happy, a polite email to the organisers makes it all worthwhile (sometimes :rotfl:)

    Be lucky everybody

Hello, just a quick message as am at work, there's an email that came out today pretending to be from the land registry saying that they are going to debit money from your account tomorrow, just to say that it's fake and they are advising people to delete this email. It does look very very real as far as fake emails go there are no signs that it isn't real! It comes with a zip file which obviously I didn't attempt to open named "Land Registry Report".

I just wanted to post this here in case it affects us as a group and also in the hope the post might be googleable as I googled and found nothing about it so I had to ring them. You are caller 27 :O !! **

    **(They actually answered very quickly)

    Be Lucky! :D

Thanks catz747 for the info, will keep an eye out.

dontone - well done on getting it sorted. It is always worth politely following these things up. I had a delay with a washing machine I had won, it took nearly 3 months to arrive but they were constantly in touch and sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers and gave me a 5 year warranty so it was well worth the wait.

Yes I am enjoying the herbs very much firefly, I usually just use dried herbs so finding it quite nice to have fresh, must admit that coriander and basil are my favorites though also the chives and mint that I have outside.

Its just started tipping it down here so glad we are back in the house now.

No WEM's for us yet today and not post either but not grumbling as while we are not getting them others are and we all have to take our turn :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Red I brought my son up on my own from aged6/7 he is now a very rounded adult hated when he went to uni hated when he went to navy but you have to let them go he is now a very nice person who cares and understands and also educated so he lives in the real world

So agree - it's never easy but you have to let them go and find their way in the real world :) Was always worrying, couldn't help it being a mum. :o

It is hard, but they do so well. Lost me husband/their dad few years back but the kids have done me/him proud. Love them to bits. :A's
