they are very greedy :eek::D was watching one burying the monkey nuts one day & every time he went off to get another one,
one of the magpies flew down & pecked where the squirrel had buried the nuts & looked like he was flying off with them :eek::rotfl:
was thinking poor squirrel when he goes back for them they've disappeared :eek::rotfl:
if there's is such a thing as reincarnation I hope I don't come back as a squirrel or a magpie :eek::eek::rotfl:
we have names for all the visitors as well :A:D:j

Loving the stories about the squirrels! Naughty beggars! They used to come right up to the fence next to our back door and look in at us but they don't bother now with the cats next door and our dog.

Have a great break Sheils! Hope to bump into you somewhere, still not sure where we are going today and not sure if I'm working tomorrow or what. If I do work, we might take the kids out anyway.

Alfie, hope the techie dept sort you out. I hate all this new technology as it can be so confusing! I play drawsome with BSue and lately I can't get on it as I keep getting a message on iPad saying I'm playing on more than one device! I only have the iPad to play it on!

sorry but this one realy made me laugh :rotfl:

It was Paddy and Seamus giving the motorcycle a ride on a brisk autumn day.

After a wee bit, Paddy who was sitting behind Seamus on the bike began to holler
"Seamus ... Seamus ... the wind is cutting me chest out !"

"Well, Paddy my lad," said Seamus,
"why don't you take your jacket off and turn it from front to back, that'll block the wind for you."
So Paddy took Seamus' advice and turned his jacket from front to back and got back on the bike
and the two of them were off down the road again.

After a bit, Seamus turned to talk to Paddy and was horrified to see that Paddy was not there.

Seamus immediately turned the bike around and retraced their route.
When after a short time he came to a turn and saw a bunch of farmers standing around Paddy who was sitting on the ground.

"T'anks be to heaven, is he alright !" Seamus hailed to the farmers.
"Well," said one of the farmers,
" he was alright when we found him here ..
but since we turned his head back to front ..
he hasn't said a word since !"

Decided to go out and wash me jalopy - wanted to check coolant, screen wash, oil etc etc.

Bummer - couldn't work out how to open bonnet!! :eek::eek::eek:

Fair enough,managed to click it open but couldnt work out how to open it further!!!! Thankfully, lovely neighbour came to my rescue ...... ace mechanic ........ showed me how to open it and checked everything for me including topping up coolant for me! :A :T:T:T My lovely RAF son in law had showed me ...... but I forgot!!

Just been for a long walk in the woods with jasper and DD on her bike. Going to Redcar now I think so will look out for you Sheils if you're there! Kids want to paddle in the water and play in the fountains on e sea front.
