Sorry Inners I am going to have a mini rant... Have just gone on daily Star site and read the article about the day 1 winner for the iphone... Considering they were supposedly choosing the best comment each day to me it seems a bery bog standard comment that's won so not bothering now to change mine every day i will just keep reposting the same one :rotfl: thought mine was quite catchy

Yes, I also have a couple of (now very fat) wood pigeons who have been coming here for years, and this year they brought their offspring with them, who when the kids try to get to the seeds, their parents peck them unmercifully to keep them in their place!

But the thing that surprises me is that there are two pigeons (different ones) who actually perch on the bird feeders - luckily the feeders are hardy enough to take the weight, but as I say, I have never seen pigeons perching on a bird feeder before! Beside it on branch, yes, but never actually on it.
