Good morning everyone, lovely morning here but very windy. Got washing in so should dry nicely today. Life just gets busier and busier here. Fred's DD2 was here yesterday so didn't get much comping done by the time I had cleaned up. Today my DD2/SIL is bringing GD (11) for us to look after for the week which is lovely but demanding as she loves getting my sewing machine out and other craft hobbies. Soooo not much comping for me this week.
Wingo is it today you were going on the picnic, or was that yesterday, sorry. If its today have a lovely time. Regarding the Tesco points, if I remember right, you ring the number on the back of the Tesco card and they sort it out for you. We don't use Tesco a lot except for white goods and the odd thing but its useful to save them for Christmas. They always come in time to double up as well which is handy.
Thanks for the Times comp SM. Glad you had a nice holiday and hope DH is feeling better now.
iluvcats/Alfie sorry you didn't win on the lottery this week.

I totally missed the Golden Grahams ILC but did get two of the bran cereal. I really like the Red Berry Special K though and eat it a lot which is why I entered DH too.
Hope you manage to do a bit of comping Sylvia. It must be nice having all the grand children coming to stay. Looks like it will be a while before any of my sons settle down. The older two have had long relationships but not for ages. Oldest one was with a girl for 7 years, right through Uni etc - was upset when they split.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Thank you. Well, we always have at least one in the garden, but usually there are up to 6 or 7 at any one time, sitting in the bush waiting for me to fill the seed tray with sunflower seeds, which they love and they have to fight the pigeons for (I have never seen pigeons hanging onto seed dispensers before - is this something new?)
And yes, they do consume a lot! And they like the fat balls.
They are also very noisy and certainly let me know when the tray is empty!
As to where they come from, they most likely came from a single pair of breeding parakeets which escaped or were released in the mid-1990s, according to Wiki.0 -

Beautiful birds! Re pigeons ...... have two resident in garden, been here for years ..... made the mistake last year of moving wooden loungers near to bird feeders while I was mowing, and forgot to move them back ....... my fat pigeons stood on the back/top of the loungers and easily reached the feeders!!! :rotfl:
They generally now wait under the feeders for spillages from other birds and I also throw food down for them as they have been here so long and got so used to them now
Have also had them in the past on top of branches, trying to access feeders but no luck for them, they are to darned heavy!!xx
