Like the horse and bear story walwin. Saw a similar one on TV a while ago about Polar Bears playing with dogs.

Still lovely here so I am going out to sunbathe for an hour before I make dinner as it looks like it might be the last chance for a while. Wonder if I could persuade DH to bring me out a drink.:D Looks like we will be keeping the heat but getting rain.

Isn't it strange though, how, in such a small country, the weather can be quite inclement from one county to next?

Fish, chips and veg.

Banana and fresh orange juice for breakfast, prawn salad for lunch, natural yog and strawberries/peaches for tea - too flipping hot to cook!!!! However upside is ....... I have not desired choc (the love of my life), biscuits, crisps etc etc etc in this heat, so have lost a decent bit of weight which I am very pleased about. Time I lost it, so goody!

However, if it cools down I will treat myself to a lovely box of maltesers for being such a good alfie!!!!! :D :rotfl::rotfl:

Past fortnight have been self-medicating M n M's Peanut (my fav) Aero mint balls (when £1) and got a prescription on Saturday for Chocolate Brazils:eek:

Meow's in now as knows where his paws are buttered :eek: :beer: :j :T :rotfl: :j :beer:


Been drinking Peppermint tea instead of too many coffees though had a couple today (crema instant and a cafetiere cost)

To be honest, had enough of the considerable high temps every/all day and particularly at night:eek: Looking forward to some rain and reprieve from the humidity at night!! Unbearable conditions to sleep. Still so hot here :eek:

Starting to cloud over a wee bit (just white clouds) - fingers crossed we get a wee bit of rain to cool things down xxx
