Yeah ILC it is annoying when they keep repeating non news over and over.

Well done FF. Is it a meal out or ready meals?

Looks like our forecast is for showers/rain everyday after today. :(

Crikes sheils, thank the lord you didn't get caught up in that incident!!!

Yep, your dh is right - extreme heat conditions, no mowing of lawns. A neighbour of mine made the mistake of scalping his lawn 2 days into the heatwave!!!!:eek: It's now so dry and brown and bald, and errm very poorly looking! I know the grass recovers ok in the end, but I prefer to leave mine in these conditions. Mine was brown in patches but cos I left it this week, have now quite a lot of green appearing plus daisies etc (oh maybe could be weeds then I suppose ) :D:D Never water it, don't see the point - waste of precious water.

ff: yep puddy in huge huff!!! :p However if she had got it, there would have been moth remains on the carpet  Hope it didn't get eaten by bats after all me efforts!!!!

:T:T Well done on your win!! :j:j

Tad worried about severe thunderstorms and flash flooding
Will tone down the rain dance a wee bit :o Only wanted a shower or two :o

Will have to stay up later cos not sure about keeping windows open upstairs if this storm is due? While it's humid will keep them open, but will have to close them if thunderstorms occur.

Popped out briefly this morn to get milk n eggs - soooo many peeps walking around red raw after weekend weather!!! Looks so painful! One bloke was walking like John Wayne and complaining about sunburn ......... was just pondering which part of his anatomy had caught the sun!!!!!! Didn't like to ask!:eek:
