Likewise ff ....... have done watering as is still coolish outside though sun has got his hat on and raring to go!!!

Sheils - you are a brave soul!! No housework or ironing for me - house far to hot! In fact puddy is fairly pleased to see that Mr hoover appears to have been made redundant of late :rotfl::rotfl: She hates him big time! :rotfl::rotfl:

ILC - snap, also nowt for me! Guess it's paws crossed for tonight then!!

Muggy through night and even though puddy has the whole run of the house (downstairs seems tad cooler at night), she chose to sleep on me bed, on her back - airing her tummy!!! For a wee cat she can take up quite a lot of bed space!!!!!

Gritters out as roads are melting!!!! :eek::eek:

Morning, hope everyone is well. Not been online much this week as my laptop had to be fixed and then when I got it back my internet wasn't working for a few days (I'll be asking BT for compensation).

Had a nice evening out with a friend yesterday, today I am going supermarket/B&M shopping with a friend as I've been too busy to do a big shop for a few weeks and need to stock up. I am going to a festival next Friday so tomorrow will be mainly spent preparing/packing for that (after the boot sales, of course!).

Not had many wins this month (just a book and some cheap lipstick!) but i haven't been entering as many comps as usual with my trip to Brighton, enjoying the weather and the IT problems mentioned above.

As just heard a r/o announcement, I've put on another Lotto tix for tonight :eek: {and surprise surprise two losing SC's!}

Scheduled Forum Downtime Tues 23, Fri 26 – Sun 28 July 2013 (12)


Hi everyone

We’ve some periods of scheduled forum downtime coming up in the next week.

Why are we doing this?

We're shifting to a new system which should be faster and will help our forum. With a project as big as this though there may be some teething problems in the first week or so afterwards so please bear with us, your patience really will be appreciated.

For the techies among you, we’re migrating the forum to a new server.

When will this happen?

• From approx 12.30am Tues 23 July the forum will be unavailable for around two to three hours.
• From 7pm on Fri 26 July the forum will be unavailable for around three hours, then will go into "read-only" mode until Sunday 28 July (earlier if possible!)

NB In "read-only" mode you’ll be able to read the Forum but not join or log in, post, thank, send PMs etc. Buttons that normally allow this eg thanks, reply etc won’t be visible.

Three handsome male dogs are walking down the street when they see a beautiful, enticing, female Poodle.

The three male dogs fall all over themselves in an effort to be the one to reach her first, but end up arriving in front of her at the same time.

The males are speechless before her beauty, slobbering on themselves and hoping for just a glance from her in return. Aware of her charms and her obvious effect on the three suitors, she decides to be kind and tells them,

"The first one who can use the words 'liver' and 'cheese' together in an imaginative, intelligent sentence can go out with me."

The sturdy, muscular black Lab speaks up quickly and says, "I love liver and cheese."

"Oh, how childish," said the Poodle. "That shows no imagination or intelligence whatsoever."

She turns to the tall, shiny Golden Retriever and says "How well can you do !"

"Um. I HATE liver and cheese," blurts the Golden Retriever.

"My, my," said the Poodle. "I guess it's hopeless. That's just as dumb as the Lab's sentence."

She then turns to the last of the three dogs and says, "How about you, little guy !"

The last of the three, tiny in stature but big in fame and finesse, is the Taco Bell Chihuahua.
He gives her a smile, a sly wink, turns to the Golden Retriever and the Lab and says....

Liver alone. Cheese mine.
