I have some good news to share, DD2 has passed 2nd year, even with all that was going on she managed to come in top 20% of her year so proud that she will be becoming a 3rd year medical student. :j:j:j

And the physio was pleased with DD3s progress this morning. She needs to start to use light weights to get back some of the strength in her arm but nearly there with getting all the movement back, he said she was doing a lot better than he thought she would after a week. :T:T:T

Im poorly . Ive got the worst cold/ virus thing I can remember having in a long time I feel really yuk! I guess I probably caught it when I was crammed into the school hall the other day and it was full of snotty kids!
Worst time ever to be unwell, the kids have so many end of term things going on just now and need taxi-ing around, costumes sorting out, concerts, parties.........:o

Thank you rhosynbach, I am very proud.

She is a little disappointed that she narrowly missed a distinction point 2nd year running. Has been top 20% both years but need to be top 15%. She does not think she has a chance now of getting distinction as would need 2 points next year or the year after which would mean coming in top 5%. :eek:

But at the end of the day a pass is a pass in her career and that is all she needs. You don't get firsts or second in degrees in medicine.

And of course she gets the brains from me. :rotfl:
