When I was out with the dogs today I was thinking about this diet and the fact some of us are going to be missing out on the whole shedding a few pounds/ditching the junk in the trunk malarkey .
So I am going to join in my freezers are going on a diet with you ;)
Time I made some room in them and found out what delights they hold :D
But it will be a 1:6 diet starting today

When I hit lucky at the express for whoopsied meat the other week I emptied mine to put the newer stuff in the bottom and found a joint of beef from beginning of May last year and mince from end of may.:eek:

We had joint for dinner last sunday and spag bol on thursday. Still here to tell the tale. :D

Oh and found some of those BBQ Basa fillets right in the bottom that were 1p, BBE is last year some when. Have put them to the top, I can't see why they won't be ok.

None of it will be thrown out if any of it looks really dodgy rather than give it to the dogs, there is always the DW packed lunch

    Afternoon all.
Woooooooooo, looks like I made a Page 3 girl :D
Didn't get my bowl of chips for dinner last night, had to settle for 2 sausage rolls and a slice of cheesecake so my well thought out 5:2 plan went out the windows :(
Had cereal and Sunday dinner today too already but figure I won't eat much before bed tonight now.
This 5:2 thing is harder than I thought when I can't sleep through half of it :rotfl:

Thanks for the new thread EMMAP.

Popped into Wyevale Garden Centre today, some vegetable plants reduced by 75%, bought chilli pepper, orange and yellow sweet pepper and aubergine for 50p each. So tempted to buy more but resisted.

The 'also vs T's from the M list are to be copied onto the Avs T list in due course (where still valid). New item for Avs M: Barratt Dip Dab Lemon Sherbet & Strawberry Lollies (6x45ml) £1.00 £1.00 (vs M only). (MSM has it as "Barratt Dib I]sic[/I DabLemon..." etc.) Resist! Do not let Savvy tempt you into buying more than you need!
