Hi my little cherub. How are you?

Thanks so much for asking, I am still here. Not been posting much as I am an embarrassment to the 5:2 club. I've tried my very best but I just can't do the 600 calories thing. I've really tried but I just struggle so badly. The headaches are a killer and my hay fever has been quite bad lately too.

Having said that, I have cut the junk out and it's more or less 2 salads a day, shed loads of mint and fennel tea and no collections of crisps/pizza/pop whilst in bed. Weirdly enough, I have dropped 2 more lb so that's a total of 4 lb since I started.

How are you faring and how are the others doing? Hope everyone is seeing some improvement. If not, I am sure in time you will see results.

You ARE NOT an embarrassment. We all have our own struggles. Of 5 fasting days, I've done 500 cals once. The other days have been just over or up to 600. A sugar hit is something that I've been struggling with too. I have sugar free jelly, either making my own or buying it in little pots- they are 3 cals each! I try and have some grapes or strawberries with a muller light yogurt for lunch, as its sweet and does hit the spot.

    When I really need a sugar lift, a flump is only 30 cals :j I had 2 yesterday :D

If you are really struggling on 600 cals, increase it to 650 or 700 on the days when you are fasting and going to the gym. It could be that your body thinks you arent eating enough, so is going into starvation mode by clinging onto its fat reserves.

We are all here to help and support each other. No-one should feel that they are an embarrassment. We are all human, but with the support that we have here, we will do it :D

Feel free to join the facebook thing or even PM me if you are really struggling :)

Good morning everyone, bit miserable and wet today.

DS1 has half day at school today, the school "need to prepare for prospective year 5 open evening"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also need to take him to Buxton and Bonnets to measure up for a new blazer for September, the school have changed their uniform and are paying for new blazers for the entire school apart from the near year 7s, and they had the fittings while we were away on holiday.

Shall pop to Sada for mullers while I am out.

    :A (hugs) to 3Dogs.

School uniforms :mad: Ive just had DS2 uniform list for next year. Absolutely shocking!! I'll not have much change from £500 by the time Ive done :( . There's absolutely no option for cheaper alternatives at all. They hold you to ransom by only making the stuff available in one place. It really gets on my you know what's
Oh that was a rant :o
