    Morning all. How is everyone?

It's absolutely chucking it down today. Also, as we have passed 21st June, the days will start getting shorter too. Eeeeek. Roll on Xmas!

The normal jelly bellys were RTC 89p in my store yesterday it is the sour ones that were cheaper. Which ones did you find cjj?

And at a guess I would say the sensations and wine gums were the bigger sized packs than those glitching by the prices they scanned at. :(

Yes tiny shoes they were normal ones. Had not been paying much attention to sizes etc. that will teach me :o x

Some of those are the wrong packs if they scanned at those prices. Def the Crisps and Wine gums. Smints are ONLY raspberry and Lemon, not regular.

    Thanks, they were regular x

Maybe I'm thinking of metal tokens at the Pleasure Beach at Great Yarmouth or Skegness? :)

    Probably :D
When my Nan used to take us 30 years ago it was paper tokens she had then.
You're still a young whipper snapper then :D

Then you need to send them for retraining ASAP and spend a few hours MSE'ing ;)

Someone yesterday mentioned T staff keeping PP's left behind at SS tills - Would that not be a sackable offence ?

Well to be fair one is a baker so is only in the bakery and the other is a jack of all trades and is on checkouts, driving the vans, home shopping, early morning papers etc , he s a handy one to have there.

He was a section manager but when his marriage broke down he couldn t cope with everything plus he wasn t given the staff to do his job properly he asked to be demoted so to speak and is much happier now even though less money and has a nice girlfriend for about 5 years now :D

I believe it would be as would picking up used receipts and going for the points. Luckily my two have always done the right thing as they value their jobs too much and we ve trained them well lol

    :p

Anyone got the barcode as I want to check if and what is available near me. Currently in my painting trackies trying to finish DS room so won't be able to get out til much later. TIA
  • Yesterday around midday I was at Haslingden Tesco looking for 1p items. Tic Tacs had scanned full price in the morning (both varieties) at Accy having scanned for a penny 2 days earlier. The Jelly Beans were a penny at Accy, but at Haslingden there was a young man with a piece of paper checking the tic tacs. When I started looking he asked if I wanted any. They were spearmint, I told him I wanted fresh mint. He said he was looking for them as head office had sent through an EPW (Emergency Product Withdrawl) order on a list of items. He claimed it was because of there being something wrong with the products making them dangerous. I saw the list and it clearly said that the items on it had wrongly been reduced to clear at 1p. On the list were:

    Moshi Monsters sweets
    Tic Tacs (both varieties)
    Fizzers
    Jelly Beans.

To double ckeck what was happening I went to Great Harwood, and found all these items missing, plus a box full of the Calofornia Honey Nuts was also missing from the shelf.

So I decided not to continue on my search further a field. Just a heads up for anyone popping out specially.
