Just got trouted with two of the coffee coupons, mrs troutface had a right strop;

Trout - "we don't accept these coupons off the internet"
99p - " is this a new thing?"
Trout - " no we've not accepted internet coupons for a long time"
99p - "oh, are you sure?"
Trout - "Yes, we don't accept any coupons off the internet"
99p - "oh, ok then I'll just go and check that with customer services"

Customer service lady says - "yes we do accept them as long as we sell the product and they scan"

Not to be outdone trout (who can hear this) shouts across "no we don't accept them, there was a thing sent out saying not to accept them"

Customer service lady now says "sorry then we can't accept them"

Smug faced trout looks at me with extremely smug face.

I say to customer service lady "to be honest I'm not convinced" to which she replies "do you want to speak to the duty manager?"

99p - "yes please"

Duty manager puts everybody straight and hands me £1.50 for one coupon at which point I tell her I have another coupon, she hands me a further £1.50 and I thank her.

I purchase my two coffees in front of not so smug looking now troutface and walk out shop having been paid £1.00 for my troubles as the coffees were two for £2.00.
