No luck from the first three wombles from my field trip:rotfl:to A tonight.
First one already posted.
Second one - they were obviously watching what they spent in A:(. Nonetheless, and with spying in the news, it has given some intelligence on prices at different stores. It may give a few items that may later appear in my T or Svs A listings.
Third receipt - no luck again. The only multibuy on the receipt (fruit juice) comparing correctly. It's told me the CBY Fresh Custard (500g) is £1.48 A, £1.00 T.
From the third receipt, good news for Avs Morries shoppers. The CBY Frozen Mushy Peas 1kg - I can confirm are comparing £1.00 vs £1.00. They're 80p for 907g in Heron Foods, which is very slightly cheaper than Avs M, but many people won't have that option available, so Avs M isn't more than a few pence equivalent out. And CBY Pork & Egg Roll (227g) is comparing, probably when it shouldn't;), £1.00 vs £1.00 for M. Otherwise, CBY Italian Macaroni Cheese 400g £1 in A may be a good filler for vs M - it's 'comparing' to N/A. That macaroni cheese is also giving N/A vs T. I think msm.co.uk gives T at individual price of £2.40, but there may be some different weight issue. Remember, if it's within 10% from the T product though, that T PP - if it picks the item up - does not adjust prices for weight - so if T is more than 400g, it would be better Tvs A (if it compares to A's £1.00).
Some of you may have noticed, earlier, I referred to it being the last official day for A comps. vs M, when I posted this at about half midnight (Friday night, or rather this morning). It was technically correct as I said last day "tomorrow", meaning Sunday - but I was thinking of it as today, i.e. Saturday. :oI'll tell you I got myself confused about what day we are on. Probably due to my couple of days booked off work:rotfl:- but it's a bonus, having thought it was Sunday already for a short while today, to have another day of the weekend still:j:j:D.0 -
