Well I thought it was a bit late in the day to look for wombles, but outside my Sada was like a city centre at 5am after the nightclubbers have gone home:):T. I'm more liking the smaller receipts, as not only after they immediately enter-able but one of them has some alcohol on. And a couple of individual Mullers - why did they go for those ones?
I went off track half-way through though - walked into the store and then started looking at Muller Crunch Biscuit Variety, on the SEL at £2 but £3.88 vs £1.94 M - so would be £2 gift card (making it free) and then about another couple of quid back (being paid £2 to take it away). Went round, another frozen item and trigger, to do an impromptu M shop from memory, then a Dove 350 and other item Herbal Essences 400ml (T and S £1.89 but also £1.89 in M, and going to risk it being one of that M had). Even had a flump and white mouse ready. Then... remembered I had only a few quid cash and no APGs (as only going for wombling and not buying, unless the kitchen rolls were still 30p). Hoping the wombles pay for the petrol cost;).
So I put the lot back. With any luck the store still won't have changed the SEL tomorrow (might be in luck). Colleague saw me, at the end, putting the shampoo back and commented 'we don't normally have people putting it back'.
:rotfl::rotfl:Lol! - I then said I'd forgotten most of my money... and she took me off to the Herbal Essences 200ml at £1.00!! Must have thought I was intending very bad purchases of £3.88 or thereabouts (I thought, but didn't tell her, I had the competitor's prices in mind:rotfl:). Of course I was totally disinterested in the £1.00 ones (would only have bought them in Sains, or T, vs A - but clearly I would never match the £1 price as the £3.88(?) ones are cheaper - £2.00 for 200ml x2 or £1.89 less 10% on a 400ml, plus the extra from the trigger helping). She left and I scuttled away and left the store with nothing.
And, reluctant to go on about what follows as I don't want to keep on about it, but I see only FC is here:rotfl:at this time anyway - I suspect this was one of the benefits I have. As an Aspergerian (or perhaps a former Aspergerian, as one of the diagnostic manuals has reclassified it now), I most likely don't follow, or have, any of the body language expressions that the vast majority of people have. So, while I was totally disinterested, I suspect my expression (totally unthought of and not planned by myself) gave any impression other than me being disinterested. The same thing that I suspect partly explains why I've never had any success asking for DTD at T, might have been a benefit here:). The three enter-able wombles coming up... (or maybe fewer if some of them give nothing of interest).0
