I could go into the reasons as to why this has happened. However I have decided not to do so, not least to spare you all of it, but that I fear it will never been fully understood.
I am therefore not bothering to do so. I feel my general point about the 'discounters' comes across in my last post, so I have I now decided not to provide the examples and explain it. Normal folks just find it boring:rotfl::o. Unfortunately, for all the useful information I provide, I will remain destined to be unutilised and doubted by many people who could otherwise have greatly benefited.
I am not fully sure why I have posted this post, although this last paragraph itself can never be explained because it would only cause more upset and [truncated and not even written at all as it will as it doubtless offend some people and therefore will remain destined to be misunderstood].
Problem is savvy we are all a bit thick on here and you,my friend, are not:D:Dnever stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -

Emily_Rachel wrote: »Hello Savvy, believe me when I say you are much appreciated, and that all the hard work you do is very valued. Just because I don't push the 'Thanks button' every time I read one of your posts, doesn't mean you are undervalued. It just seems a bit meaningless and pointless (to me) to push this button all the time. Some people press it every time, using like a page-marker, some never. It means different things to different people and you can't use it as a measure of how popular/boring what you do for us all is being rated. I am sorry if you see this as a slight - that was never intended. You sound a bit snarly today, taking offence when none is intended, rather like me earlier when I was really hungry! You aren't trying the 5:2 diet as well are you?? Lots of friendly appreciative hugs winging their way to you. XX
My response to the highlights in the order in which they appear:
(1) I agree with you on that.
(2) It's just something I noticed over the last few weeks.
(3) No offence taken - for that, I'd have to have taken an emotional reaction to it but I didn't.
(4) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks.
(As for meaningless and pointless, I don't myself get time to thank (or even read:eek:) every single post, though I do do occasional catch-ups and sometimes thank posts then, if they particularly stand out. I guess I'd be the one to do some really psychological in-depth research into why people thank what they have, or don't thank what they don't, and do some detailed number-crunching and statistical analysis of the whole thing! You know (if you've been here for some time) that I don't get time to press 'thank you' all the time - and, as David. told me some time ago (and I'd agree, same goes for me), he'd rather have the info. I provide than a thank you from me every time.)0 -
