Well I had a drama with a deflated tyre last night. Long story but I ended up changing a tyre on the hard shoulder of the M6 at 11.30 PM last night:eek::eek:.....I Taught him how to do it ages ago, there's some stuff that passing your driving test never prepares you for ;)
I hate doing it. Always feel the toolkit you get with a car's useless, when a professional breakdown service will fix it in seconds without breaking sweat.

My mate taught his daughter how to change tyres before she got her license as he didn't fancy her waiting for someone to rescue her if she got a flat somewhere dark late and lonely, and that seems sensible to me.

I think some countries (might include Japan) make you demonstrate you can change a tyre before you pass a test.

I think it's because if you're in a country where the roads are congested you need to get moving again quickly so you don't block the road weating for a breakdown van.

I hope all the elite have checked out autoaid btw! :T
