Yep. I [STRIKE]thought[/STRIKE] knew you would [STRIKE]probably[/STRIKE] know, but maybe someone else didn't.:)My trouble is that I can't resist a coupon. I got a 4.50 off 30 pound spend in S, so I spent and got a BrandMatch coupon for 9.85 and another 4.50 off 30 pounds and 5p off petrol. So I bought the petrol, spent another 30 and got a 9.70 BM coupon and a 7.00 off
70 pounds, and now they have e-mailed me with a 15.00 off your first online shop offer too. AHHHHHH. I need to get off this train.:o

You do indeed, before you end up spending too much (even if you're getting a fairly good deal on what you're buying). I never use the online offer as there's no opportunity to get a BM back, so you'd end up having to pay the full amount:eek: to get the £15, and no £10 back at the end. That, if nothing, should put you off. Spending something like £60 to get £15 - I don't think I could spend £60 without paying too much on some items. Far better sticking to just buying the half-price offers (in which case your previous £60 shop is now £30 - so you've saved more than you would if you have taken up/fallen for the £15 off - or buying those half-price items at A for £27 net via APG - in fact you don't need all that lot of stuff for £30, cut it in half, buy less and save more).

£7, off £70:eek::eek:?? That's just a 10% reduction - don't they realise you don't have to spend nearly that much at their competitor A and get 10% off Sains prices every time. Or even spending 'just' £20 at Sains. ("just" compared to £70 anyway), using a previous BM coupon and get £10 BM back - halving the bill in effect, though you're then trapped back into S next time and trick is to either be a BM shop of £20 getting £10 back or spending just £10 on everything cheapest in Sains (and preferably no equiv. available in A so that you couldn't have had it 10% off Sains' half prices). "Half" prices are normal prices to me.

After weeks and months of being dispensed with a coupon for 120 extra points (yes, folks, that's just 60 pence) when I, in theory ever spent £40, and dispensing with it every time and never ever using them, they've now... after months, reduced it to £30. Seemed a little better - and sadly I fell for this bait (but then again I did use the delightfully non-comparable 36 Bird's Eye Nuggets on 'half price' £2.49:eek: (T 18 pack x2 - any 2 for £3.00 - no thank you, and A no equivalent or if there is any other pack size more expensive I think (I hope:o:rotfl::)) per 100g) to get the £30 (and the 60p:() - but then again I'm not shopping with them next week now, as I've done the £10 shop I would have done (and BE offer now due to have expired) - as an add-on to the £20+£10 this week, and will do my next shop with Sains. a week later than normal - so, fewer shops, same amount from me in total, but 60p off. Better than zippo but I am certainly spending no more than I would in the rate that I would.

Should probably - and will next time - wait (and wait and wait) to see if that £30 spend for 120points eventually goes down to £20 spend if I keep ignoring it long enough. That's a much nicer amount for a few extra points.

Oh, and the £30 spend, I did also use up £5 of Nectar points mainly collected through using Adpoints (though I note they aren't letting me have the ads for the maximum 250 points each week, it's subject to available and they aren't making them "available") - which I believe if I'd done a £20 shop, I couldn't have redeemed £5 points as that would be a £15 spend (I think BM goes off the eligible points equivalent that you either got, or would have got if you had used a Nectar card - I've never tried though or wanted to risk it otherwise as it would lose £10, my information on the use of Nectar redemption came via Sains. communications office some time ago, if anyone knows different please tell us) - instead tacked the £5 Nectar 'reward' onto the £10 excess (next week's shopping done today), scanned the extra points coupon at the point of the initial bill first then redeemed the £5, still enough left for BM & uncapped £10.00 coupon back. And with my overspends I'm already nearly at another £2.50 'reward' once more. Just need Nectar search to go on and some more Adpoints.

Oops - Emily Rachel, getting me into an epic post:D.

Just thinking about running out of things. My cheese stash is perilously low.

Has anyone used the £1 off Davidstow in T and does it compare to S which is slightly cheaper:)

How did the fellow fasters get on?

I think my headaches were due to no sugar. I don't drink tea of coffee but I do consume about 2 litres of pop a day and I had none yesterday. But it's all good.

Please don't worry if you have put on a few lbs since the start. I put on 3 lbs but I think it's because I drank a lot of water, and it takes a while for it to go through the system so obviously it will increase weight. More hydrated bits and pieces inside will obviously increase your weight.

Oh and not really a good idea as we are all dieting but check the boxed DIY puddings at Sada (ex Netto stores), there was all kinds reduced to clear today. I don't have a sweet tooth so I just walked past but there was all kinds including Creme Brulee and various others bits and pieces.

Mimi, you made me laugh with that post.. I don't have a sweet tooth.. You sure? :p:rotfl:

Hi sweetheart. That's a smashing offer. Is it an ongoing one or was it a glitch? Do you think it will still be running tomorrow?

    Thanks love x x x
