    You are allowed to earn £5225 tax free. The interest on £210k will exceed that by around double. So, half the interest will be taxable, if not more or all of it depending on other income.

    At NS&I you can invest up to a maximum of 93k tax free.. This includes their direct ISA (3k) & Premium Bonds (30k). Note that the savings certificates must be invested for a minimum of 1 year.

    For the remainder (which will not be tax-free) suggest you look at the the savings accounts mentioned above.
