Trying to find my loan details for PPi

Hi I'm new here but just wondered if anyone could help me. My husband and I had a joint loan with Lloyds TSB back in 2000 and we had PPI which I would like to reclaim. However, we haven't kept any details of our loan and when I approached the bank they said it was too long ago and don't have any details. Is there anything else I can do or is this a dead end?
Many thanks

You can send a Subject Access Request (SAR) letter which should provide all details the Bank has on record for you for at least six years and (sometimes) more. It costs £10.

If the SAR returns no details of your old loan then any complaint you might make has ended.0
