I've just moved into a new flat run by flagship housing.
They recommend a insurance run by, Royal & sun Alliance Insurance. They do simple and simple +. Does anyone have any knowledge of this insurance and if it's any good.
Also can someone clarify this line of the insurance. "Tenants liability -Up to 20% of the sum insured for damage to buildings and internal decorations"
Thanks' for any help.

R&SA are not the best of Insurers (research them online for reviews). This is for your Contents Insurance, which you can arrange anywhere. Personally I would suggest that you shop around. Tenants liability concerns damage that you may liable for under your lease. e.g you damage a wall in a DIY mishap. Most Contents Insurance will provide this. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0

Tenants insurance tends to simply be over priced Home Contents insurance.
Go onto the aggregators etc and double check their prices against mainstream providers, the majority of which include tenants liability section.0
