HELP! Mozilla Firefox, cut,copy paste

Options
Hi Guys,

I have a problem, so thought i would pop over here and ask the experts.

I use Mozilla Firefox, and generally don't have any probs whatsoever, BUT, I post loads on the comping forum, and when i start a new comp thread i would love to be able to post a little piccie of what the comp is!

i have asked other members over there how they do it, and they say just right click on the piccie, then chose COPY IMAGE. (that bit is fine), then go to my thread and chose PASTE.......................

Heres the prob, when i go to my thread, cut copy and paste are greyed out, they are even greyed out if i go to EDIT at the top.

So, question; How can i un-grey these 3, so i can use?

Many Thanks

  • Hi Al yes but nothing happens??? It's driving me mad.

When i go to the top you know where you have
File, Edit, View, Go, Bookmarks, Tools and Help.

Well when i click on EDIT, the menu i then get looks like this;-
    UNDO
    REDO
    CUT COPY
    PASTE
    DELETE

    SELECT ALL
    FIND IN THIS PAGE
    FIND AGAIN

I get the same thing (being blocked out) but if you copy the image location you can click the little piccy button and paste it in - your picture will then appear

Also run a thorough virus, malware, adware, spyware etc sweep as some malware has been known to cause this

I thought the pics needed to be in html hence need the [img][/img] tags to work . I can copy and paste everything else fine and hust copy the image location between the tags.

Have you tried upgrading? Maybe even install to a new directory altogether so that it writes all the files for the first time instead of over-writing stuff.
